In my mid- 20’s, while going to school for art and design, I still didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up! I had a couple kids throughout the years and was just enjoying being a mom but I really yearned to do something creative. Consequently, on my 30th birthday, while enjoying a day out downtown, I discovered “boutique photography.” I looked into the studio at all of the beautiful portraits; families at the beach, kids in nature, and a newborn swaddled looking into its mothers eyes. It took my breath away! I knew as soon as I looked inside that it was in my fate to capture those moments for people. The next day I registered for the Photographic Imaging program at college.
    Since then I’ve been obsessed! Taking classes, workshops, and immersing myself into everything photography related. Photography is an ever changing art & I love the learning curve & continue to grow everyday. Nothing compares to absolutely LOVING what you do for a living.
     Along my journey, I have met the most incredible people! It’s so great to be able to be let into a client’s life to capture their most personal moments. I leave the session feeling like I am part of the family, and I love that. Everyone these days has a fancy camera and takes hundreds of snapshots at a time: therefore the art of photography is sometimes taken for granted. It is my pleasure to show my clients that photography IS an ART. I am thrilled to be able to give my clients such a wonderful gift to hold on to forever.

how I got started...

+ I have 4 awesome kids, (3 boys & a girl) & I've been with my hubby since we were just teenagers!

+ I used to volunteer at the rescues & take pictures of the dogs who needed help getting adopted. Pitbulls have my heart, I have 3 :)

+ We have a Vintage Airstream we are fixing up.. I'll post pics along the way!

+ I love driving around on weekends, Starbucks in hand to all the yard sales finding antique props for my clients 

+ I'd much rather wear old T-shirts & jeans or workout pants then dress up. I feel like a fraud when I dress up lol
 
+ Although I am obsessed with "Main Streets" in cute towns & going out to eat in little cafe's.. I could probably live off of cereal, pizza & coffee & not mind one bit

+ I love going to live concerts... Dave Matthews is one of my FAVS

+ I listen to true crime podcasts but can't watch scary movies!
